Plan your party, wedding or photo shoot* at the beautiful and historic Harn Homestead Museum. We offer 10 acres of beautifully landscaped museum grounds.The Event Barn is a great place to host a large event. This two-story 3,000 square foot rock and cedar barn holds 200 guests seated or up to 500 guests standing. The Barn is equipped with overhead and floor heaters for those chilly winter months and cooled in the warmer months by two Portacool units as well as two stories of barn doors that open to the north and south of the barn.You may also use the gazebo, a tent, or the lawn in front of the Event Barn to set up tables and chairs. This shaded space is truly the perfect outdoor wedding location.
*All photo shoots must be scheduled in advance with the Harn Homestead staff.

The Event Barn and grounds are available for rental on Fridays for $1750 between the hours of 2:00 p.m.-Midnight. Full-day rentals are available on Saturday and Sunday. A Saturday rental is $3250. A Sunday rental is $2500. The hours of availability are from 8:00 a.m.-Midnight. A full two-day package from Friday at 2:00 p.m.-Saturday at Midnight is $4500. A Sunday four-hour rental package is also available for rates ranging from $500-$750. Please contact Director Kelly Frye for more information and date availability: kfrye@harnhomestead.com

PAYMENT
Non-refundable deposits and a signed contract are necessary to guarantee the rental. Initial deposit totaling 50% of the rental is due at time of contracting; remaining 50% of the rental is due 60 days before the event. Both payments are non-refundable. Variables such as security, museum admission fees, property damage fees and any unusual requirements the day of the event will be billed after the event.
PHOTOGRAPHY FEES/RULES
The Harn Homestead site is a gorgeous place to take your engagement, bridal, family, and senior photos. Couples who have booked the venue for their ceremony or reception are not charged a location fee for photo shoots during regular hours of operation. All other interested parties should arrange the date and payment with the Harn Homestead Event Director.
BOOK YOUR EVENT TODAY
The Harn Homestead opens rental dates for bookings on a first come first serve basis after you have spoken with our Director and ideally toured our facility.
TO HOLD A DATE
Dates can be placed on a one-week hold free of charge. To reserve the date, you must return the contract and deposit to the Event Director. If no contract and deposit are received, the hold will drop automatically.
