Plan your party, wedding or photo shoot at the beautiful and historic Harn Homestead Museum. We offer 10 acres of beautifully landscaped museum grounds.

Our Event Barn, Jane Van Cleef Memorial Gazebo, Shinn Barn, Schoolhouse, Farmhouse, Neal Cabin, and property are the perfect backdrops for your special day.

Harn Homestead BarnThe Event Barn is a great place to host a large event. This two-story 3,000 square foot rock and cedar barn holds 200 guests seated or up to 500 guests standing. The Barn is heated for those chilly winter months and two stories of Barn doors open out to the North and South ends to provide air during the warmer months.

You may also use the lawn in front of the Event Barn to set up tables and chairs, or a tent. With 10 acres of shaded and landscaped space, this is truly the perfect outdoor wedding location.

Wedding Packages

Two-Day Wedding Package

Cost: $3,000 (Fri & Sat)
Capacity: 200 Seated; 500 Standing
Availability: Unlimited event hours
*Include 4 hour rehearsal dinner
Security: $35 per hour/per guard (mandatory 1 guard per 100 guests)

Package includes use of facility for four-hour rehearsal/rehearsal dinner the evening prior as well as use of facilities for wedding and reception the next day. Tables and chairs for up to 200 guests are provided. Additional fee for holiday weekend dates.

One-Day Wedding Package

Cost: $1,700 (Fri/Sun) $2,400 (Sat)
Capacity: 200 Seated; 500 Standing
Availability: 4 hour event time (Friday set-up 1:30 p.m. Sat/Sun set-up 8:00 a.m.)
Security: $35 per hour/per guard (mandatory 1 guard per 100 guests)

Package includes use of facility for four-hour rehearsal, reception, or wedding and reception. Set up and tear down allowed before and after event time. Tables and chairs for up to 200 guests are provided. Additional fee for holiday weekend dates.

Museum Admission Fees

For daytime and evening events, a 20% fee will be added to the room rental if advance arrangements are made for guests to tour the Harn House. Tours of the Harn House must be scheduled at least 24 hours prior to the event. No event coordinators, participants or guests will be granted admission to the exhibit areas without prior arrangements.

Payment

Non-refundable deposits and a signed contract are necessary to guarantee the rental. Initial deposit totaling 50% of the rental is due at time of contracting; remaining 50% of the rental is due 60 days before the event. Both payments are non-refundable. Variables such as security, museum admission fees, property damage fees and any unusual requirements the day of the event will be billed after the event.

Photography Fees/Rules

The Harn Homestead site is a gorgeous place to take your engagements, bridal, family, and senior photos. There is a location fee of $25 per hour during normal business hours and $50 per hour evenings or weekends, with a two-hour minimum. Couples who have booked the venue for their ceremony or reception are not charged a location fee during regular hours of operation. Times for all photos shoot must be reserved in advance so that our small staff can schedule their day accordingly.

The Harn Homestead opens rental dates for bookings on a first come first serve basis after you have met with our Event Coordinator and toured our facility.

To Hold A Date

Once a date at the Harn Homestead is put on hold, that hold is good for one week. To secure the date you must return the contract and deposit to the Event Coordinator within that time frame. If no contract and deposit are received by the Event Coordinator then the date will again be open for other bookings.

You must make an appointment to view the facility and meet with us to book an event on the property.
